Hello Everyone,

I’m Cassandra – the Founder and Designer behind borrowed BLU. As we continue this incredible journey together, I feel it’s time to share a bit more about myself and the mindset that shapes our brand’s heart and soul.

borrowed BLU is more than a collection of designs—it’s a reflection of my passion for pushing boundaries, breaking traditions, and reimagining the art of the table. To me, creativity is an endless process of revision, where the same foundational elements—materials, colors, forms—can be transformed and interpreted in infinite ways. It’s about asking, “What else could this be?” and leaning into the possibilities that question uncovers.

Yet, some of the most profound moments in my creative journey come from encountering work by other artisans—designs that strike me as better than I could have imagined crafting myself. These are the pieces that need no revision; they stand as a testament to the incredible artistry of their creators. To include them in our curated collective is to celebrate the artisans behind them, to honor their vision, and to marvel at the inspiration they ignite.

I’ve always been drawn to the unexpected—pieces that challenge norms, spark conversation, and invite you to see beauty from a fresh perspective. borrowed BLU embodies that spirit: a constant evolution of design, always rooted in artistry but never confined by tradition.
